Our boutique Pilates Studio has 5 Reformer beds, 3 of them with Tower. We pride ourselves in offering a personalized experience through our private sessions, duets, and small group classes.

Our Holistic Practice has space for Yoga in a private or duet setting. This space was created to offer an escape from the busy world and give you the opportunity to connect within via energy work, stretching, myofascial release, and much more!

Our Founder

Gloria Stimatze, RN, BSN

Hello! My name is Gloria, and I am so happy to welcome you to our space!

I am so excited to be returning to the Grand Valley, after living in Africa since 2016, and traveling the world extensively for the last few years. I graduated with my BS in Nursing from CMU back in 2010 and have been passionately advocating for health and wellness ever since. In addition, I became a certified fitness instructor and coach 11 years ago, which allowed me to create a successful personal training business in Angola and connect with people from all over the world.

House of Fenix is born as an idea after my first trip to Bali, where I went for my 200-hour Yoga teacher training, and found a new way of living. For the last two years I have focused on learning alternative therapies such as Reiki, Breathwork, and Meditation, inspired by the Balinese culture and their deep connection to self-care and celebration of our time on Earth. And then, about a year ago I found Pilates, after having abdominal surgery, and desperately needing to recover from a complete shutdown of my abdominal muscles. I had tried everything, and it was only after getting on the Reformer, that I was able to rehab my core. Pilates has changed my life and body in ways that I never thought possible, so when I had the opportunity to take over the studio, I didn't hesitate. Combining my two careers and Holistic knowledge through our studio and practice is a dream come true, and I am so excited to welcome and serve you!
